About this number

852 Hz is the sixth of the six original Solfeggio tones, published by Leonard Horowitz and Joseph Puleo in 1999. Puleo is credited with deriving the numbers from verse numbers in the Book of Numbers. The syllable names used with the tones come from a medieval hymn. Medieval singers used those syllables to name notes relative to each other, not to fix frequencies.
